Consumers fall in love with a brand and it's important for a brand to develop and stretch itself to provide for their consumers. I don't suspect that a customer will walk into a store to buy a pair of jeans and end up buying a sofa, but it's about providing loyal consumers with a choice to create a lifestyle.

Writers shouldn't fall in love with their characters so much that they lose sight of what they're trying to accomplish. The idea is to write a whole story, a whole book. A writer has to be able to look at that story and see whether or not a character works, whether or not a character needs further definition.

There's no point in making something if you're not falling in love with the people you're filming and you want them to really enjoy you being around.
