At the end of the day, you are solely responsible for your success and your failure. And the sooner you realize that, you accept that, and integrate that into your work ethic, you will start being successful. As long as you blame others for the reason you aren't where you want to be, you will always be a failure.

I would say that the fan support validated my choices as an actor and... the work ethic and the amount of work that went into that character day in and day out. I think the fan support really validates that and all of the cast and crew that worked really hard to make the world of 'Almost Human' look the way it did.

In most professions, if you stay at the office an extra four hours every day, you're gonna impress the boss. You're gonna get that promotion; you're gonna get that raise. You're gonna at least have job security. But with acting, if you're really ambitious and you have a good work ethic and are really good at your job, it might not really matter.
