Conditioning is my best weapon.

Beating people up is a positive thing.

I'm the oldest I've ever been, right now.

I believe there is a champion in all of us.

Believe in your own potential for greatness.

I break bones, I break people, I break spirits!

There's always tomorrow; that's the martial way.

I dreamed that I was being raped by Freddy Mercury.

Wrestlers need a lesson in submission, and I’m just the one to teach them.

Believe that you can even as a single individual, you can change the world.

When I go in there, I'm not going in there to win. I'm going in there to fight!

One of the ultimate things a human can learn is kindness for their fellow humans

After a match, my opponent goes to the hospital and gets an IV and I have a martini.

He who fights and runs away lives to fight another day and looks like a pussy today.

This is my world. You step into my world, you will step out a loser - I guarantee it.

I don't think much of Tito Ortiz. He needs to grow balls and sign to fight Chuck Liddell.

The very essence of martial arts is the thirst for knowledge and the truth about ourselves.

Fighting has taught me that the caterpillar takes a while to turn into a majestic butterfly.

I plan on going so deep into the desert, that any failure of my equipment could cost me my life.

When you're in there fighting, there's an energy and there's a focus that is nearly unbreakable.

Set your sails now but the ocean is very rough and treacherous... if you keep going you will get there.

Fighting is art and there is nothing more beautiful than the painted canvas of just totally kicking someone's ass.

Training, a lot of the time, is just uncomfortable. But discipline is all about doing the thing that's uncomfortable.

I don't like beating up people in my hometown. I like to go to their hometown, so they can see what they're all about.

Fighting is 90% mental. There are people who run from the fire and there are people that turn around and run to the fire.

I'm a fighter through and through. I don't give up. I have a strong heart and I will push until there's nothing left in me.

All my life, following the warrior's code has taken me to places I was afraid to go. But always when I got there I was glad I made the journey.

The first thing that makes you a tough fighter is in your head and in your heart, then your tools. It has nothing to do with someone teaching you how to be tough.

When you have harmony in the different areas of your life, with your mind, body, and spirit, you're just so much stronger, especially in really intense stressful situations.

Believe in yourself. Believe in your own potential for greatness. Believe that you can change the world. It is something that is within each of us. Believe in the Power of One

I believe there are people out there that just have a warrior spirit, whether it's fighting or something, they've got to do it. It's hard to identify with me; it's just something I do.

You have to grow. If not you're then living in regret and you're living in the past and you're not progressing forward. And I learned the mistakes that I made and they made me stronger.

I will do nothing lightly. When I walk, I will walk heavily. When I fight, I will fight with conviction. When I speak, I will speak strongly. When I feel, I will feel everything. When I love, I will love with everything.

The point of taxation isn't that the government knows better than you how to spend your money - it's that the government, by virtue of being the government, can spend money in ways that no private citizen or group no matter how powerful, can.

And to think, there are still places in the world where man has not been, where he has left no footprints, where the mysteries stand secure, untouched by human eyes. I want to go to these places, the quiet, timeless, ageless places, and sit, letting silence and solitude be my teachers.

Everything’s been about the journey, I never really set out with goals for fighting; it’s been about the adventure along the way. When you’re on your death bed, it’s those stories, those little adventures that are going to be the things that you remember. It’s not so much getting there, but how you got there.

Fighting has taught me that the caterpillar takes a while to turn into a majestic butterfly! Patience, hard work, dedication, never giving up, rising to the occasion and fighting through adversity will make you a champion; if there a will there's a way! Set your sails now but the ocean is very rough and treacherous however if you keep going you will get there.

If you can't hold your own, you're gonna get knocked out. You're bleeding all over the place. There are many, many nights that these boys are crawling off the mats. They drop from body shots, their nose is just bleeding like a faucet. On Wednesday nights, they come in and get a beating. It only happens once with these guys. You'll get karate experts or Tae Kwon Do experts and they can't hold a candle.

When you're angry, you can't fight rationally. Your body chemistry is all messed up. Your energy goes to all the wrong places. You can't do anything well except get angrier. That's why I like fighting guys who are pumped up on steroids. Fighting is all about relaxing and releasing tension, so your body is flexible and fluid, able to bend and flex quickly, like water. I like fighting angry guys who are really tense. They can't think right, and they can't fight right.

I've had sex before with the belt on. That was back in the Ricco Rodriguez days. The night I won the belt I had a sexual experience with the belt on. But hey, I was 25 years old and it was the biggest thing that ever had happened to me in my life. The girl was like hey, are you going to take that thing off. And I said no, I'm not...I'm wearing it and if you have a problem with it, then I'm leaving. And I hate to say it, but if I do win the belt again, then this time it's never coming off. I'm going to wear it a lot more.
